Know the Knots

About Me
Knots Happen. Knowledge Helps. Know the Knots.
At the age of 32, I was diagnosed with HR+ Stage 1 breast cancer. I went through a double mastectomy with reconstruction. It was a whirlwind of emotions, appointments, and decisions. I quickly realized how overwhelming it was to sort through all the information given to me in such a short period of time – to figure out what matters, what actually helps, and what is best for me.
I started Know the Knots to share my journey and everything I’ve learned along the way. Here, you’ll find advice, practical tips, and the latest research on breast cancer. My hope is that this site can be a place where you feel informed, supported, and a little less alone—whether you’re just starting your journey, supporting someone you love, or simply just wanting to learn more about breast cancer from someone who has experienced it.
